Crazy Slots was established in June 2007 and applied for a Route Operators license. The Gauteng Gambling Board (GGB) issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) for potential Route Operators to apply for same during November of the same year. This was a competitive process and the Board indicated that they would license 5 Route Operators to operate 1000 LPMs each. The Board received 10 applications.
Crazy Slots (then Zico Gaming) was awarded their Route Operators' License on the 12th of December 2008. The organizations and its shareholders are particularly proud of the fact that the shareholders funded the entire process.
